Some 35 people attended the tenth meeting of the Italian chapter of ISKO, organized with the Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage in Cremona and held online via Zoom due to the covid-19 pandemic. This enabled special guest, emeritus professor Marcia Bates to speak from California, and some members of ISKO UK to join the discussion. Both Riccardo Ridi and Maria Teresa Biagetti discussed about the definition of KO from the viewpoint of, respectively, information theory and historical bibliography. Mauro Bertani showed how Ranganathan's facet analysis can be described in terms of lattice theory. Giorgia Lottici and Carlo Bianchini presented the use of KO systems (DDC and CC) in innovative online applications. Despite the technological mediation, scientific exchanges were lively and appreciated.
